We are excited to announce the launch of the Connected Health & Care Summit (formerly People Summit) taking place on the 17th – 18th October in Manchester.

Once again, we will bring together the largest community of health and care professionals in service planning, clinical operations, workforce operations, and safety from across Europe.

The Summit will feature inspiring, interactive, and thought-provoking sessions from industry leaders, and keynote speakers along with users of the UK’s and the world’s most impactful health and care technologies.

Following on from the recent calculation changes in Allocate Rota, we have now introduced a new historical pay scales view in the system.

This new feature provides you the option to use grades with historical pay scales, so you can compare a rota outcome on the new calculations, on a previous pay scale.

Congratulations to Harrogate and District NHS FT who have recently gone live with MedicOnDuty, Allocate ActivityManager and Allocate Rota, helping to more efficiently plan and manage their medical workforce.

Having just completed the implementation project, we spoke to Martin Deacon, eRostering Manager and Sarah Whitton, Project Manager for the Programme Management Office and Digital Delivery Team to find out about the challenges they were experiencing, their goals for the future and how they are going to use the medics solutions to provide greater visibility and boost productivity.

The latest Medics User Group took place on 3rd July, with almost 60 people joining the session.

The agenda covered a variety of topics, including:

  • A conversation around the calculation updates in the Allocate Rota system
  • A deep dive into the roadmap for Allocate JobPlan, Allocate Rota and Allocate Appraisal
  • A sneak peak at the next release for the Allocate JobPlan system
  • A how-to guide on self-rostering for consultants
  • Great Western Hospitals talked through their journey to rostering their medics

The latest Medics Rostering Community Group took place on 18th July, hosted by Chris Bond (Medics Rostering Specialist). 37 people attended, from across 22 different organisations.

The group covered a variety of topics, including:

  • Product updates and sneak peeks at some upcoming new features
  • An overview of reporting, KPIs and Allocate DataHub
  • A regular session on anaesthetics rostering, with Swansea Bay providing an update on of their progress

Thank you to everyone who attended and joined in the conversation.

On 16th July, our Job Planning Network took place, hosted by Tom Bird (Customer Success Team Lead, Medics). The session attracted over 100 people and covered current hot topics and product updates on the Allocate JobPlan system. The interactive session also gave attendees the opportunity to share successes, challenges and best practice.

The Inaugural Job Planning Community
On 24th July Tom also hosted the first Job Planning Community session, which brought together a group of organisations who have 75%+ sign off rates for their job plans. This group is focusing on best practice, troubleshooting and boosting engagement around job planning.

In early July, members of the RLDatix team made a visit to Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, where they covered a variety of topics related to activity-based rostering and job planning.

The group discussed development of our product roadmaps, monitoring of job plan delivery via activity-based rostering and ideas for future enhancements, amongst other things.
