Join our Community Collaborative Initiative, designed to support the transformation of workforce within community settings
Karen Swinson, Clinical Lead, RLDatix
This week, The Department of Health and Social Care has confirmed there will be a revised Workforce Plan published in 2025 to particularly focus on redirecting healthcare from hospital to community settings.
Navigating the complexities of community care delivery is no small feat. For healthcare leaders, such as Directors of Nursing, CEOs and CFOs, the challenges of balancing operational efficiency, workforce sustainability and patient outcomes require actionable solutions led by expertise and innovation. That’s precisely why we’ve introduced our Community Collaborative Initiative—a partnership with healthcare leaders to drive meaningful change in community care.
With our team of professional colleagues who have walked this path successfully, we aim to empower healthcare organisations like yours with real-world insights, proven strategies and tailored solutions.
eCommunity builds on your workforce management and scheduling of Optima by providing dynamic visibility of your staffing capacity against your patient’s needs.
How can eCommunity support your organisation?
- eCommunity supports your organisation to measure capacity and demand within the service to predict gaps and changes in demand, allowing you to make data driven workforce deployment decisions.
- By matching required staff skills to patient needs when creating schedules, supporting safer staffing, continuity of care and eliminating the need to reschedule visits.
- A live connection to your PAS system provides you quick and painless data transfers, reducing admin times, eliminating manual input errors and ensuring staff can provide personalised care with accessible to up-to-date patient data.
- Reduce missed or duplicate visits and travel time between patients, by planning efficient schedules for staff, reducing costs and increasing patient treatment numbers.
- Using a system such as eCommunity can enhance staff satisfaction and patient welfare. Employees have clearer visibility of their workloads and can ensure they are more productive by planning routes, offer mobile accessibility to patient care records and improved optimisation of each clinician’s skill and expertise.
