Announcing the sad passing of Hugh Ashley
It is with great sadness that we share news that Hugh Ashley, MD UK & Ireland passed away on the 31st March 2020, following a short illness over recent months. Hugh was a much respected and loved member of the Allocate family who will be truly missed by us all.
Hugh joined us when Allocate acquired Dynamic Change, a business he founded together with Mil Milojevic, 20 years ago this month. Dynamic Change was one of the first healthcare SaaS organisations in the UK. Within Allocate Hugh ran the Global Services division for a number of years, then in 2015 he became MD of UK and Ireland. Throughout the past twenty years Hugh was completely dedicated to serving our customers, delivering the best customer experience and making a difference to healthcare. It is from this foundation that his passion, drive and leadership has taken the UK&I business from strength to strength. As an exceptional mentor he leaves our business a remarkable legacy, Hugh believed in supporting people to be the very best they can be and he invested time and effort helping many of our team members to pursue their ambitions.
There are many positive lessons in how fully Hugh lived his life and indeed his real legacy is his family. He loved nothing more than the time he spent with his wife and two sons. Our thoughts are with Karen, Rory and Finn at this sad time.
